Meet The Team

Jen has been in the dental field for 20 years. Ever since she was a little girl, she has liked dentistry. Jennifer enjoys spending time with her family and visiting Disneyland.

Erica was born in the beautiful Napa Valley but grew up in Chico, CA. She moved back to the Bay area in 2008 along with her three children. She joined our team here at Synergy in May 2023 after working in Endodontics. She started as a sterile technician and then moved her way to the front office/treatment coordinator. She enjoys spending her time building new relationships with our patients, making sure their comfort is #1. In her free time, she loves water activities: lakes, rivers, waterslides, tubing, and spending time with her children, Goddaughter, and friends.

After being a dental assistant for several years, Heather transitioned to the front office to gain a greater knowledge of the overall practice. In her free time, she loves to travel, spend time with her family and friends, and just be outdoors.

Nancy enjoys helping Dr. Hubenette design and prepare restorations. She enjoys patient interaction and cares about each patient’s needs. Away from the office, Nancy likes to spend quality time with her three kids, Camila, Joaquin, and Marcelo.

Emily joined the team in 2022. She currently ensures a clean environment for both patients and employees. Emily is enrolled in college to fulfill her dream of becoming a dental hygienist. She was born and raised here in Sonoma. In her free time, she enjoys music and spending time with friends.

Norka H. is a  Registered Dental Assistant who believes dentistry is about more than teeth—it’s about people. She loves guiding patients through nervous moments and celebrating with them when their healthy, confident smiles shine through. Outside the office, She recharges by hiking new trails and exploring new places.

My name is Robert Cardenas and I graduated from SRJC dental hygiene program in 2023 .My passion as a dental professional that advocates the importance of preventive care started  once I became a  dental assistant in 2008 . As a dental assistant , I was exposed in both dental private offices and community clinic environments, where I encountered the need for dental preventive care   .  Those acquired experiences from my previous dental fields, they provide a path for me to pursue a higher education as dental hygienist  thus to expand my dental knowledge.

During my free time ,I enjoy spending quality time with my family and my wife.  I also like working in my vegetable garden , a new hobby of mine , going hiking  and trying different food in restaurants that my wife and I had not visited yet.

Cydney Martin is a Sterilization Technician and Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT-1) at Synergy Dental Group, where she plays a critical role in supporting regenerative procedures such as Platelet-Rich Fibrin (PRF) therapy. With extensive hands-on experience in venipuncture, blood handling, and advanced clinical safety protocols, she ensures precision in both collection and processing to optimize treatment outcomes.

Holding a dual bachelor’s degree from the University of South Alabama, Cydney pairs academic rigor with disciplined clinical execution. Her sterilization process, infection control, and procedural workflow upholds the highest standards of safety, efficiency, and patient care.

Cydney is committed to advancing her knowledge and supporting Synergy Dental’s dedication to innovation and clinical excellence. Outside the practice, she enjoys photography and actively serves her community through involvement on her HOA board.
